Tumblr started recommending me posts abt Merlin, and now all I can think of is Dion x Terence Merlin!au

Dion would probably still be Bahamut's dominant, but somehow Terence would be an unmarked bearer trying to hide his magic. But at the same time Terence would be using his magic to protect Dion and making sure that Dion doesn't have to use magic, so that the curse can't spread any more than it has.

Thank you! ^.^ Ahhhh I love slow burns so much. Writing them especially. I only have two modes when writing romance: either the relationship is already established so I don't need to write the falling in love process, or I'm writing about them falling in love but its a slow intrinsic process of self discovery, vulnerability, and learning to trust someone else with the soft, tender parts of oneself.

Kalim Al-Asim: Yes. I think I could. Now, I'm not saying that I could win because "Kalim is weak". Never underestimate your opponent. I don't think Kalim is weak at all, not in the slightest. I'm simply saying that if the two of us got into a 1v1 fist fight with the rules above, I think I could win. However, it would not be worth it. I would be known as the person who "beat up" Kalim Al-Asim, the little ball of sunshine and generosity that throws the best parties at school, aka the most loved person there across the study body. I'd get jumped on my way to class all the time. To make it worse, even if it's a fair, agreed upon fight with no hard feelings, imagine if Kalim says something and the students translate it as "It's ok, I forgive Bonk!", that would make it so, so, so much worse bc it would sound like I just beat him up on a random tuesday. This description is getting long, but basically, yes. I could win the fight, but it would not be worth it.

Jamil Viper: Nah broski. This dude scares me. I don't even know why he scares me, he just does. Like, through normal and casual circumstances he doesn't scare me. He would be just like any other classmate. Its the idea of having to fight him that scares me. Not only is he a dancer, so he's probably got an rib-breaking kick hiding somewhere (same applies to Kalim btw), theres no doubt that he knows how to use his strength properly, especially if he grew up basically being a human shield/body guard/hired companion for Kalim. I'd imagine that assination attempts weren't always just poison but were sometimes like, getting jumped or ambushed. Like that's probably all fanon, but he definitely knows self-defense and how to quickly apprehend someone if needed. I wouldn't get my ass beat, but the fight would be over in no less than 45 seconds to a minute if we're talking realistic timing.
