Though i don't think that's the case. I think WD is an off color diamond fusion. Maybe all the stars in her cape? And that she's interrupted yellow, blue and pink from fusing with green and creating the real White Diamond. Maybe earth is green diamond? I think WD is an imposter or something false that undermines the entire rigid structure of gem society. That all were being led by someone who in their own eyes thought they were doing right. Familiar? Oppressing off colors and treating perfect gems like tools sounds alot like america. Even her cape has stars and stripes!

I think the heart gem was the creators jackin with fans. The heart gem is way too faceted. It's just the esthetic of steven universe in general. And the maniacal grin is just maniacally enough to be...onion. Wearing a mickey mouse cap. Just like everyone thought.
