when who we are becomes what we are - identity based on the outward and not the inward -

You know... every now and then I’m forced to examine the fact that I have ZERO alcohol tolerance.  Z E R O.

I had one--ONE--piece of rum cake tonight.  ONE.  IT WASN’T EVEN A PARTICULARLY BIG PIECE.

And I’ve been ready to go to sleep for at least an hour, possibly two

...I had the piece of rum cake like... 2 hours ago.

This is one of MANY reasons I don’t drink.  :P 

(...also I have to get past a migraine-level headache just to get to pleasantly buzzed.  Which is not worth it at ALL, IMHO.  And if I DO make past the headache to pleasantly buzzed, I immediately fall asleep thereafter.  And wake up with the migraine I thought I escaped pounding on my door.)

I was tempted to toss out a headcanon ask meme or a sleepover saturday ask meme (yes, I know it’s friday), but seriously how do you people answer these things when you’re drunk?  I can’t even get my brain cells together enough to FIND ONE and I’ve had ONE PIECE OF RUM CAKE.  OTZ

...I do love rum cake, though.  *sigh*

"Those eyes get me every time." Klavier thought, looking into mischievous eyes that held his gaze. They were under the mistletoe, so it was only natural that something had to happen.

"You've got something right there." Klavier pointed at the corner of his mouth, and went in for the kill. He puckered his lips as he prepared for the kiss.

On the other side of the room, Apollo and Ema watched with a mixture of horror, mild disgust and amusement as Klavier proceeded to make out with a mirror in the hallway. The mirror was now smudged with the mark of Klavier's lips and eggnog.

"Well, now we know who drank all the eggnog." Apollo said, who was discreetly filming the scene with his phone. 

Ema smirked. "You can't say they're not made for each other. Send me that when you're done."

"You bet I will."
