I’ve also set up a reward system in which I give myself a dollar every day I don’t bite my nails. If I make it to 30 days (the time period they say it takes to break habits), I get $30 to spend on something I don’t need without feeling guilty about it.

However, if I bite my nails before the 30 days, I take however much money I’ve earned so far and transfer it to my savings account, where I’m not allowed to touch it.

And if I bite my nails after the 30 days, I put $5 in my savings in the same fashion.

I’ll show you, 2017. I’ll be the best Saki I can be this year.
