Nimbus toothbrushes are Really Nice! Somewhat more expensive than the generic "soft bristles" ($12 for x5 toothbrushes, plus shipping), but I have a sensitive g*g reflex and I need the smaller head. (So I specifically bought the "compact" model.) Plus, the bristles are dreamily soft. @.@ It was like a nice massage, honestly really soothing. Even brushing with my usual unconsciously brisk pace, my gums didn't bleed or even feel achy! And my teeth really do feel surprisingly clean. The handle is grippy enough that I didn't lose control of it or slip while brushing.
Weirdly, it even feels cleaner BETWEEN my teeth? Even with brushes that have zigzagged bristles, I usually have to floss for 3x as long for my teeth to feel this clean between individual teeth! Maybe something with how tiny the Nimbus bristles are and they're more flexible? I'm not sure how/why but It's Definitely Happening. I've literally NEVER felt like my teeth were that clean after brushing alone.
I honestly haven't been brushing my teeth as much lately because my old staple toothbrushes (that I've used for nearly 10 years now) went out of production last year; I'd been using my last one for about a year. I was hesitant to try new ones because the sensitive g*g reflex triggers my emet*phobia, and I have a Lot of sensory issues in/around my mouth. So I was REALLY hesitant to try something new. But these ones are almost luxurious!
(And I absolutely cannot handle an electric toothbrush even with a "low" vibration/motor, because I have massive sensory issues with vibrations too. Plus, it feels/sounds too much like dental work. I've rarely had good experiences at the dentist because I have thin enamel even where it's healthy, my sensory issues make routine cleanings hellish, and I'm anesthetic resistant, so they don't believe me when I tell them something's still hurting even after five doses of lidocaine. /:P )
But I think these ones will do the job quite well. ~<3
