Thinking about the way that Chapter 5's dark world incorporated a Japan/Anime aesthetic due to some of the comics lying around Asgore's living space, and how it twisted up what we'd think a dark world in that space would look and feel like... and I'm wondering if it might be the same for a potential hospital dark world.

Like, one of the main events that takes place in the hospital is Noelle and Rudy playing Dragon Blazers together, so... what if that theming is incorporated throughout the hospital in the same way as the Japan stuff was in Chapter 5? It would make thematic sense, especially if Noelle is the one to open the fountain like we suspect - not only because DB is an adaptation of the Prophecy, but also relating to the idea that in a JRPG like that, any party member that "dies" can be resurrected pretty easily with a spell or some basic items, compared to the more mundane reality of treating illness and injury. It would align perfectly with Noelle's motivations for opening a fountain in the first place (and perhaps serve as a semi-scathing commentary on the US Healthcare system at the same time?)

Not to mention, the mashup of a classic JRPG and a clinical setting where injury and death is a relatively common occurance would be an interesting juxtaposition, particularly coming towards the tail end of the story. It's like early and late stages of life coming together, in a sense - the innocence of childhood adventure and discovery crashing up against the grim reality of mortality and loss.

Of course, putting your name to any serious prediction of how a Deltarune Chapter will play out is a complete fool's errand, and so I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing how spectacularly Tricky Toney will prove me wrong this time XD
