       it was always a treat to find something of value ( to her anyway ) when she had gone on her nights out. This time though, it was a weapon , with blood on it , and she’s unsure if she should bring this back home or not. The only source of experience she had with anything like this was with action movies that she saw on the television. Delicate hands pull the knife off the ground with precaution and she started to move with it , and then it’s a figure in the distance that comes closer that makes her freeze , everything from her hands to the tips of feathered appendages. 

     “  is this . . .  i-is this yours? “  she asks , and it’s uncertainty if she had ended up reaching the strangers ears.

Her was to hoping Five hadn’t COMPLETELY blown up after she approached him and she could PROCEED in peace with what she was trying to do. Obviously the pointed SAVE THE WORLD but, she was gonna try and limit the number of CASUALTIES however she could. Although, this jump was a bit of a mess coming from a JOB really didn’t help the situation. ❝ There were two other guys on the top floor but I took care of them for you. ❞

It had been a while since the last time Natasha had taken on a mission alone. Usually she had Clint as her partner, but this time it was different. Barton had been sent to investigate a drug cartel while she was responsible for investigating a possible group of arms dealers.

She was only a few days in the city but it was already possible to know that it would take more time than she thought. Everything seemed too normal. If there were arms dealers in that place, they were very well hidden. She thought about asking the local police for help, but she (and SHIELD itself) considered that 'unnecessarily bureaucratic'.

Natasha needed to start her search somewhere, but where?

During her daytime round (casually disguised as a 'morning run') she found a boxing gym a few blocks from her temporary apartment. It seemed like a good place to make some contacts or, hopefully, meet some criminal's henchman.

The next day, the redhead woke up early and went straight to the gym.

"Hello ..." said, cautiously entering the place, with a shy smile on her face.
