▌█ ∵   🦋   ∵ █ ▌    TShe would COMPARTMENTALIZE the variety of hurt his words had. Appealing to the family angle was a BAD MOVE on her part, mistake noted and taken. It is hard to TRUST anyone in the commission she gets it. Everyone is either like AJ & THE HANDLER or is too happy about bullshit like HERB. But, at the end of the day she knew herself and FIVE actually wanted what was best.  ❝ She’s coming back. The Handler, I saw it and her goal is to kill you, your family and take over the Commission and use the impending apocalypse to her advantage. At the end of the day your plan, or plans don’t work she sabotages you, and someone she is close to kills all of you. ❞ If anything she is RELIABLE. If he doesn’t buy into it she could always show him the future. Sure, it would WASTE time but it would be worth it to help PREPARE him for what was to potentially come if they weren’t CAREFUL. ❝ You have no reason to trust me, or what I am saying but--- when she comes back she is going to offer you a deal and if you take it she is setting you up for failure. It ends in you still being stuck here and tragedy with some people in your family.  ❞

Vanya sucks in a quick breath, the weight of those words sit heavily on her chest. Her gaze falls to the ground, her brown eyes watering up, feeling overwhelmed. She’s scared that she was going to mess it all up again, honestly how many time could she ruin things? It wasn’t even just about her but all those people, her family, everyone was affected by her. Even when she didn’t even know it, how could she? She always thought she was unimportant. How could she face any of them again if this time things weren’t fixed? How could she live with herself?

    “… what.. if I mess it all up again? Somehow it’s always my fault. I never wanted any of this, I just…” She paused, pressing her lips together as her head shakes slightly side to side. It was all so much to process in such a small amount of time. @truesighted​

▌█ ∵   🦋   ∵ █ ▌    There was a SINGULAR good thing that came with her powers, ASSURANCES. While she couldn’t always predict exact outcomes given INFINITE possibilities but she could ensure specific things. She understood the FEAR because in some ways Annie had to carry her own. A weight of ENSURING THE TIMELINE rested on her shoulders, backstabbing the commission for that. She could die if she made one WRONG move, she could destroy the whole timeline too. So, in a way Vanya wasn’t ALONE in how she felt.

❝ Wanted to exist on your terms? ❞ She filled in the end of what the other meant, at least what she could PICK UP ON. Maybe she was PROJECTING because since the island all she wanted was to EXIST for herself but she couldn’t. Vanya had a CHANCE if they all did this right though and it was worth fighting for. ❝ If you are afraid of yourself learning to control things is harder. If you are afraid for other people, it makes you do dangerous things. Whatever is holding you back, you have to embrace it and yourself.
