Golbat will not stop drinking blood from a victim even if they drink so much they are too heavy to fly, and when this happens they fall to the ground and become easy prey for other Pokemon, however, as greedy as they are, it is said if they come across another hungry Golbat, they will share the blood they have gathered.

Golbat's fangs can pierce any kind of Pokemon's skin but a Steel-type's, and you can tell when a Golbat has tried this as they are missing fangs.

Golbat can drink 10 ounces of blood in a single gulp, meaning they can drain a human in 20 gulps.

This Pokemon is mainly active at night when it is pitch black.

Golbat's fangs are hollow, making them akin to straws, but this leaves them fragile to break when they hit something at the wrong angle.
