before you could ask what he was doing at the Hunter’s Association, Sylus presses you against the wall, towering over you with ease. “Leave work early today. We have plans.”

“‘We’?” you ask, cocking an eyebrow at him. what sort of scheme could he be trying to rope you in next? another day out night fishing, perhaps…?

Sylus looks down and smiles, but rather than say anything, he leaned down to pepper soft kisses on your cheek. you couldn’t help giggling into his arms as he continued nuzzling into you.

“Someone might see us,” you tell him, a grin lifting the corners of your lips.

“I wouldn’t mind people knowing that I already have a lover.” you could practically hear the unmistakable joy in his voice when he said that. you felt the same way.

“So,” you lift yourself up on your tiptoes to place a soft kiss on his lips. your fingers brushed against his nape gently and you hear him hum in content. “Why are you really here?”

“The new Fussy Kitty plushie just dropped,” he says nonchalantly, pulling you closer against him. “Twinkle Toys is having a promotion and I—“

“You should have said that sooner!” you pushed away from him. his brows knit slightly together from the loss of contact before softening again when you grabbed his hand and started leading him to the main road.

“Let’s go!”
