Seeing Pep start to smile
Hearing the new little noises he’s learning to make — my favorites sound like a dolphin 😂
When it magically works out that all three of us can go to bed at the same time
Bath time! So far we’ve only really done sponge baths but they’re fun and super cute. Hooded towels kill me. I love how Pep smells right after a bath.
Baby snuggles. I love having Pep lay on my chest after he finishes eating and while he falls asleep.
Smooching on Pep’s head and face. I must kiss this little guy like 4,000 times a day.
Seeing and feeling how patient and loving B has been with me and with Pep. His capacity for patience especially with my emotional roller coaster ride has been awesome.
Small victories: learning how to breastfeed, successfully calming Pep when he’s upset, and small moments that make me feel like I’m getting better at all this.
Casper and Callie have been surprisingly hands off with Pep so far. They eyeball him a lot and sometimes Callie will come lay with me and Pep if we’re sitting on the couch together. They sniff his head when he’s within sniffing distance. Other than that, they’re kinda going about life as usual. I’m excited for Pep to meet the cats when he grows a bit and can be more interactive with them. It’s gonna be mega cute.
My account, same url, got deleted around last week of January. It has a bunch of memories from when mcytblr is a small community. I've mourned her death and now I'm starting from zero again. It also means I can post whatever tf I want since no one will see it anyways. :)
