Another Mirandy ficlet for @flufftober 2023! I used one of the extra prompts today because the muse just wouldn't write anything for today's prompt. You can read the fic (<1k words, G, no warnings) on Ao3!

Summary: contrary to what people might think, Miranda doesn't just let assistants bring her coffee to run them ragged - she enjoys the drink, and when she has the time for it she loves sitting in coffee shops, people watching and coming up with ideas for new issues of her magazine. Never before, however, has she allowed anyone to share her table in these instances - until the day comes where a young brunette asks whether she might take a seat...
