Today, I went to Andy's competition in Placentina, CA at Valencia High School. (I competed their two weeks earlier.) The day was a bit ruined because of the rain =( but I got to watch baby perform. I watched him for most of the show, but of course when he finally decides to look at me I've already looked away. Anyways, the drumline did really well and placed 3rd out of 10 & they broke 80! Afterwards, we went out to Baby Bros with the drumline. I had an incredible day cheering on the most amazing guy =D

That feeling when you're listening to the most honest song that's so sad and lovely all at the same time that plays as the perfect background music as you browse through the most beautiful photos on flickr. There's this feeling of hope especially as you stumble upon the photos of couples. They're real people who are really in love and it becomes so much more than just a picture. Clothes become more than just something to throw on because it will be what you look back on fifty years from now. It will encompass everything you are right now. These moments may seem temporal yet they last forever. And as you look through the different sets on any given person's flickr, you begin to hope that you will soon be able to post your own photos, outfits, and moments. To want this is not sad at all but rather hopeful and inspiring. I am slowly building up my wardrobe of the articles of clothing that i find to be the most fitting of who i am and it may take years before i can finally say, "my closet needs no more" but that's okay. I want to say, "i remember that night. it was really quite lovely. i remember taking pictures of our oxfords on the pavement before running through the rain." I want something so simple yet so beautiful. Recently i bought a Nikon L110 and i'm hoping to find that this will become my foundation. I want to learn everything there is to learn about this camera to take the most wonderful pictures. Everyday i want to dress up and everyday i want to take pictures and everyday i want a reason. I want to remember and to never forget. I want something to look back on. As i become more comfortable in front of the camera and behind the lens i hope to find myself a bit more and to gain more confidence. To wear what i'd like and to just twirl and twirl as i just become this essence of myself. A ball of happiness. One day i want to be this free.
