MY BEAUTIFUL GIRLFRIEND 💘
book piles
i attempted to clear off the desk in my room so it could actually be used... as a desk. not just a placeholder. i ran across 20 books in different stacks that i guess accumulated as i finished reading them in the past few months. i always find it difficult to balance school work ... essays, research, mandatory readings... with my leisure, enjoyable reading. sometimes i get lucky & the two coincide and make my life a little easier. but even then, i have to read it more than once so i can make sure i didn't miss anything. i like the details and how they make me feel. so far i really like charles bukowski and haruki murakami's styles. i read "women" and loved it (vulgar and honest. kinda think i became an alcoholic for a bit while reading it) and now i'm on to "norwegian wood." from the first few sentences of the first chapter i could tell i loved how murakami told a story. i'm a bit convinced that i am naoko in my mind. i've only just started though, so who knows. she seems very sad and in her own head most of the time. i like that. i think i'll procrastinate doing hw and go read some more.

Terrible luck.
03.10.2014.
I swear I have the worst luck. So last night I had 4/5 pages done for my paper and I was saving my work every couple of minutes. This morning I turned on my computer to transfer it to my USB disk and it was nowhere to be found.....
So today with 12 hours I had to write it. all. over. again.
But I had a little help:
This is a dunkin' donuts MEDIUM coffee coolatta. It looks like a large to me!
But anyways I got it done. Finally.
And I managed to keep cool about it instead of freaking out. Might have been the coffee though, I had a buzz the entire day haha.
Anyways onto the fun stuff, next week is spring break and I have absolutely nothing planned. I still have to get through this week and everything else I have to get done.
I'm thinking about dyeing my hair again... I have this love/hate relationship with my hair. I hate the color of my natural hair. I think I've dyed my hair since about 7th grade? I had highlights that year and from 8th grade on I've dyed my hair. I love changing hair colors but I hate that it kills my hair. But honestly though this is the longest time I haven't dyed it- since December of last year. I know it doesn't seem that long but trust me, I used to dye it every 2 months and sometimes every month if I wanted a change.
What should I dooooooo? I'm seriously itching for the hair dye though.
Oh! I forgot, it finally felt decent outside today! I didn't have to bundle up in my marshmallow coat to go outside. But already the weathers changing back to icy cold and wintry weather :( It's supposed to snow Wednesday! Gosh I hope we get warmer weather soon so I can break out spring outfits haha.
xoxo. (P.S.- I still need a better saying).
