I have two back to back parties on the other side of the state tomorrow! I’m gonna be so tired!

Hello Sleuth! Thank you for providing quite a few hours of entertainment by reading your theories. But I have a question for you: You said that the Baudelaire parents have killed Count Olaf's ones and you said you're inclined to believe they've done so before the B children were born. You also gave this quote (goes on another ask since I don't have enough space.)
Hi again, @wikipedie! I copied the other parts of your question below:
“Our parents took a taxi to the opera one evening when their car wouldn’t start.”“I remember that evening well,” Kit replied with a faint smile. “It was a performance of La Forza del Destino . Your mother was wearing a red shawl, with long feathers along the edges. During intermission I followed them to the snack bar and slipped them a box of poison darts before Esmé Squalor could catch me.However, if that incident is exactly the incident where the Baudelaires killed Count Olaf’s parents, then it can’t be when B&B are just some children/teenagers, since V, K & S remember this event. It could be that this event is not at all related to Count Olaf in this instance, and simply the ‘noble’ volunteers deciding to use this way of assassination again.
As i’ve said before (Link), the datation of Olaf’s parents’ assassination is controversial. Because the wording is so vague, it’s ambiguous whether the Baudelaire orphans were or were not born at the time of the event, and whether they remember the actual evening or their parents telling them about the evening. There’s enough evidence for both interpretations and I doubt we’ll ever get a clear answer on that.
I do think Kit and the Baudelaire orphans were talking about the same evening, though. Lemony mentions having to hide from a certain woman at the time of the performance, which squares in with Kit having to hide from Esme Squalor.
The Baudelaire orphans did not know what perils layahead of them, as they followed Kit Snicket down the lawn, but they wondered- just as Iwondered, on that fateful evening long ago, as I hurried out of the opera house before acertain woman could spot me-if it was the force of destiny that was guiding their story, orsomething even more mysterious, even more dangerous, and even more unfortunate.[The Penultimate Peril, Chapter One]
