1978 ad for Airfix Super Slides. Offer closes 31 January 1979 so you have just missed out.
Ad for Soccer Monthly No. 3, November 1978. A monthly magazine from IPC that ran from September 1978 to November 1980. I don't think there was any comic strip element to this publication and I'm just guessing that the copyright may now be held by the Treasury of British Comics.
Bullet No. 143 dated 4 November 1978. The Shark cover by Terry Patrick.
DC Thomson.
Battle Action No. 192, dated 4 November 1978. Skreamer of the Stukas cover, possibly by Mike Dorey. Treasury of British Comics.
Johnny Morris (20 June 1916 - 6 May 1999) in a 1978 Shredded Wheat advert.
Behind the Scenes at the Airfix Factory.
The Airfix Modellers Club Page from Battle Action cover dated 4 November 1978.
1978 ad for Polistil die-cast model F1 cars. They still had tobacco sponsorship on the models at this stage as you can see 'Marlboro' on the McLaren (the middle of the three cars at the bottom although it's incorrectly labelled as the Ligier, which also has Gitanes cigarette sponsorship but the McLaren is obscuring it). I don't know when the 'ban' of tobacco decals on models like these began.
