Day 877: small blessings
This lovely singer showed up on my shuffle today, so I set out to look for a song she might have sung regarding my May “Green” theme. Lo && behold, I found this gem. I’m more accustomed to her younger voice, which was delicate to say the least. Here, it sounds much more raspier && heavier so I don’t know if she didn’t take care of her voice; nevertheless, she sounds beautiful. Today is Friday && I’m stressed like always.
Fun fact: I’m officially a UCLA Bruin as of today; I accepted their admission offer. Unfortunately, I turned down: UC Berkeley (super hard school to get into && the top public Univ in CA), UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, CSUN, CSULA. Oxy still hasn’t sent me a response so...UCLA it is.
