you forget that other people actually exist. that they arent just memories, or factors that are there to just shake things up or make things interesting. that they arent just parts of your life that will test your feelings and emotions and reactions, but that you do the same to them, and that they have feelings and emotions and reactions too. that when they leave the room and out of mind, they dont seise to exist, despite the fact that they arent exactly interacting with you anymore. that the memories that you guys share with each other arent only being experienced by you, but them as well. that theyre reading the same book as you, but could possibly be perceiving the story in an entirely different way.
