They were alight with excitement, almost mischievous, like a child plotting a prank against a sibling and not a woman organising the kidnap and murder of two people.

Aside from the issues they had with Jack’s leadership, May had volunteered to be the one to relay their new mission to the Dominion mostly because she’d wanted both their input and their reaction. The spur of the moment kidnap of Juno Warden had now set off something much larger. "Actually, it's largely because of your quick thinking in bringing her in that we’re able to do this. Well, yours and Gwen's, but if I praise her too much then it looks like favouritism, so I'm giving you most of the credit." She grinned, her voice light and teasing. "All this to say, thank you for making this possible. From me and from Uriel. You ready to start?"
