From custom labels to sketches to fabric research and pattern pieces, the designer shares with us an intimate look into the process of creating the two jumpsuits seen in the music video!

“We wanted something graphic, sexy, and playful so we decided to reinterpret the AO signature silhouette (composed of our Gades high waisted trousers and Querelle sleeveless top) which is a neat celebration of the body.

Then, it’s was all about adding a little bit of pizzaz using sequins panels graphically cut to catch and reflect the light. It’s the disco, joyful part of the looks.

Although red and blue are complementary, they’re often seen as opposite, like fire and ice or passion and apathy. It’s a visual duality that made perfect sense for this project.

Being a part of the lead single of Harry Styles’s new album is mind-blowing. It was a great experience, and it is ultimately a privilege. I’m just a young Spanish designer who launched a Parisian label a week before COVID-19 lockdown, so I’m grateful for this opportunity.” - Arturo Obegero
