July 8, 2019 | João Félix's presentation at the Wanda Metropolitano João Félix was unveiled as a new Atlético de Madrid player on Monday at a packed Wanda Metropolitano Auditorium. The forward was accompanied by his family, club president Enrique Cerezo, CEO Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, vice presidents Antonio Alonso and Lázaro Albarracín and club legends Adelardo Rodríguez, Solozábal and Paulo Futre. Enrique Cerezo welcomed the Portuguese at the beginning of the event and the 19-year-old spoke afterwards, claiming he wanted to write his own history at our club. “I’m very happy to be a part of this project and a part of this club’s history. My teammates have welcomed me very well and I’m here to help the club in everything I can. I’m here to write my own history,” João Félix said. He will take the number 7 in our squad.
