k but also consider: if anon doesn't like YOUR gem oc, that's a bit too bad, cause it's not theirs, it's yours. also, to say it "doesn't fit" in SU doesn't rly stick as crit to me cause the gems themselves have a lot of varying cultural inspirations in the show itself?? so the like... the theme direction it's looking is totally fine? it might just be because you can't emulate the SU style that it's harder for anon to see him fitting. :v idk just my opinion on that matter

Laundry Day

True to his namesake, Frank-Install is a mess of different parts of various Omnic models and fleshy organs. Needless to say, all the parts working together are not the most efficient. Frank overheats very often, and he doesn’t have enough room for liquid cooling. So every week, he removes most of his external plating and lets himself ‘air-out.’

Well now the Overwatch fever has gotten to me, of course I’m making a fan character...

His name’s Frank-Install. After being held captive by a hell-bent scientist during the First Omnic Crisis, Frank attempted an escape, killing the mad doctor, but damaging his arms. So, using the research the scientist had acquired, Frank claimed the doctor’s arms as his own, or at least the still funtioning bits. 

He travels the world, killing off Anti-Omnic figureheads, removing the rotting parts of humanity. With the help of Leon Duplessis, info-extraordinaire and a genuinely creepy friend [thanks to @0mnic​].

Frank-Install’s Moveset

-Laser Cutter : A modified Kaneda 1.30 industrial steel cutter mounted to a combat rifle. Large clip, high damage, long reload time. Can only be fired for a few moments at a time, at risk of overheat. Damage is dealt to self on overheat. Secondary fire vents the reducer, allowing for less risk of overheat. 

-Core Toss : Upon active reload, Frank will throw the depleted power core at the enemy. Depending on how much ammo is left, an explosion will appear, scaling to the remaining ammo. 

-Slide Tackle : A short, quick dash along the ground. Deals melee damage to adjacent enemies.

-Ultraviolet Flare : Pointing the laser cutter up, a bright light stuns all enemies within a medium radius. All characters looking in the direction of the attack are blinded for a short time; allies recover quicker than enemies.

-Ultimate Ability - Infrared Cannon : Removing the reducer of the laser cutter, Frank’s primary weapon fires in wider bursts of light with increased damage. Each shot deals Frank overheat damage when fired. After a short period of time, the power core will deplete and the weapon will be reverted back to normal. “This is pain worth bearing!”

-Trivia-

-Frank was originally a worker on the Russian hypertrain production lines before the First Omnic Crisis. He considered joining the Shambali before he was captured. 

-Dr. Johannes Henry was the scientist who was eager to separate the sentience found in the Post-Crisis Omnics, so as to create a more efficient EMP against another Omnic hoards. 

-Frank spent 3 days adjusting to his new arms, the shear amount of sensory output was staggering, but he soon learned to better himself with them. With his new sense of touch, Frank believes that he is closer to humanity than any other Omnic. 

-Frank is methodical when it comes to assassinating. He has a policy of leaving no witnesses, as the only traceable evidence is linked to his arms. Which belong to a man who was a well-kept secret.

-During cross-continental flights, Frank likes to read “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?”
