In the fic, he's not entirely all sunshine and rainbows, he's more curious and listening to conversations intently for any clues or hints to Sonic's history with these two; he really wants to know about this chapter of his big brother and best friend's life that happened long before him. He's not necessarily jealous... but he doesn't like that there are obviously things Sonic and Mighty aren't saying while in front of him and Ray.
The way you drew all three of the Christmas islanders is just so spot on though, like who told you??? How did you see the vision before I even wrote it down? xD
