Descubrí que a pesar de que el 2019 no fue un muy buen año, me enseño muchas cosas, saco de mi vida a personas que no me hacían bien, y trajo a gente que me ha ayudado a ser una mejor versión de mi. Brindo por mis pocos amigos Brindo por mi corazón roto Brindo por la sonrisa en mi cara Brindo por mis logros y fallos Brindo por esto ¡Salud!

Day 1 of 366

2024 began

We've already eaten too much, we never stop too 🤢

But it's all so delicious

What matters is to stay around good people with good hearts and good minds

I also got many gifts

I didn't ask for anything but I appreciated everything, all good stuffs, fun, useful

May this new year be kind to each of you.

And just like that...It’s 2021

Well i’m little late...I’ve been wanting to go back for so long but i decided to wait until the new year (which is now). 

It feels like yesterday (really) i remember it was April when the company decided to shutdown the operation during the start of the pandemic (or yung pinakang peak siguro na it is really happening). A lot happened during that break as in a lot. First month of lockdown it was okay, still manageable but as the month change its been very very BORING. 

You know what saved me from boredom? Thai people...Thai series (and a bit of K Drama on the side). I was just randomly scrolling on twitter when people are raving about 2gether The Series, so i tried random episode...skip skip skip then two guys kiss, i did not know it was that kind of series (why am i surprised...it’s Thailand). I moved on and do nothing, did not even watch...but then again each episode twitter is exploding, every time they upload new episode every Friday people are going crazy, people of all genders are into it...edi let’s join the bandwagon (ehe!). Fast forward 2gether The Series became my favorite at that time, yes it’s a Y series...so what? it’s entertaining, it’s beautifully made plus the casts are fit for the role (main and supporting). So from there i explored more shows from Thailand Y series and non Y series (The Gifted for the win!) maybe I’ll post a list here, malay niyo magustuhan niyo din like me (i’m into it, Thai series is my K Drama).

Watching series from Thailand brings back memories of my business trip in Bangkok, yung mga places na napuntahan ko while i’m there nakita ko din sa mga series na napanood ko. I miss Thailand all of a sudden, iba yung feeling ko while i’m there, i never experience home sickness kasi parang nasa Pilipinas lang ako (akala mo naman ang tagal ng business trip namin dun haha!). It sucks because last year (2020) and this year we are suppose to go back there kaso na Covid-19 tayong lahat, but still it never stop from exploring more of Thailand by watching Thai series. Nahanap ko yung place kung san ko na feel na belong ako, yung i feel inspired and energized...Okay okay it’s to early to say because i know madami pa ko mapupuntahang bansa (kaya Covid please awat na) pero kasi iba ang tama ng Thailand sakin...maybe because it’s my first kaya sobrang memorable niya. 

Alam niyo ang dami kong kwento, pero since this is my first post and first entry for 366 days...i’ll cut it short muna.

It’s a brand new day and a brand new year! Surprisingly, today I woke up very early, I did all my skincare routine and some extra pampering, did some yoga, started reading a novel, connected with an old friend and washed and braided my hair (when you have hair as long as mine, washing and braiding takes around 2 hours, so it’s on the list). All of these before anyone woke up.  Then had breakfast, visited grandma, then my godmother, went to the shop, packed four suitcases and went prepared everything for the flight. This year started very productively! What did you do on the first day of 2020?

Going to write my new year’s resolution and i’ll start working on my new diary today. I wanna be productive and start my first day of 2017 right. 🙃

hello 2016. hello fresh start. hello again to personal blog posts. I’ve tried daily blogging and I’ve failed time and time again but as they say, “try again. fail again. fail better.” so... here we go.

I guess I need to start this whole thing with a list of resolutions, however, my resolutions are never anything to revel at. I like to set small goals for the sole purpose of actually completing them. but, regardless of how big or small a person’s goals are, they are still goals. 2015 was dedicated to letting myself learn to love again. since dedicating myself to that, I have been with my current boyfriend for a year (a small milestone to the large amount of years I imagine we’ll spend together). I’ve learned to love my sorority sisters on a deep and (no pun intended) sisterly level. I’ve been raising my dog for three months and I’ve learned to love him as if he were my own son. 2015 was a love year.

I want 2016 to be the year of kindness and sacrifice.

this year, I want to go out of my comfort zone to better other lives. I want to offer someone a ride in the cold. I want to help someone with the dishes. I want to offer a random kind word. I want this year to transform my heart into a wholeheartedly caring individual. that’s my only large goal for 2016. being kind. if I can’t manage love and kindness, well, I’m not sure what I can manage.

so, a message to the next 366 days: try your best. I will see the other side as a stronger, happier, and more giving person.
