Yesterday I was blessed by THREE new chapters of one of my favorite tim drake fics and the end scene of the last update was just!! CHEFS KISS!!! The way Tim sacrificed himself with em’s blood still drying on his sleeves- the soft reveal of Jax to Tim to Timothy (and if you know me at all you know I looove a reveal >:D )- the SYMBOLISM of Tim never removing his mask!!! Aaaaaa! I pumped this comic out just this afternoon bc the visuals were so so goooood! Kinda rushed at the end bc I felt myself running out of steam and I wanted to finish PRONTO so this didn’t end up in my eternal WIP pile which grows by the day. Full brag I’m actually very proud of this lol, esp the mask panels on page 1 and dick’s screaming expression on page 4.

Summary:

“I have time.” Tim does not, in fact, have time. But it’s Nightwing who is calling. What’s he going to do—say no? Preposterous. That's a crime in and of itself. Tim would rather swallow nails and kiss his mother goodnight than say no to Dick Grayson. “How can I help you, Nightwing?” --- or, when tim is three people at the same time, jebaits the bats into joining their family twice, and might be accidentally running the city as an emergency hotline operator. not necessarily in that order.

I recently started rereading 1-800-GOTHAM by @goldfishinaplasticbag on ao3 (awsome work, hilarious, check it out) and I found this in my notes. I think it's a fun litlle idea with copious opportunity to further create insane theories within the batfam.

Anyway, 1-800 gotham (pre chapter 14) crossover with canon/fanonish universe. But Kon is there too.

Dick: WHO DID THAT? *points to Tim's throat*

Tim*unthinkingly*: my idiot brother.

Dick: Angel did that?

Tim: *thinking they're referring to Jason, because heaven/ death jokes* uhh. Yeahhh.

Jason: That BITCH. I knew he was hurting Jackson.

Tim*looks at "Jackson"*

Jackson (Tim): *does the cut it out motion*

Tim *realising he may have miscalculated but going along so as to not reveal his counterpart's secret identity* : jussst remember that I'm from a different universe and MY brother may not be the same as HIS brother.

Jackson (Tim):phew.

Kon: sooo. Who's Angel exactly. *eyes narrowed at Jason*

Jax: *jumping in* He'smybrother. We- uh. Work together on Gotham 1800. He's the man in the chair, while I go out and collect info on the ground.

Kon *knowing Tim's bullshit from a universe away*: Uha... Hey. T- Red? Is this un uncle Eddie situation.

Tim: definitely.

Batfam *suspicious and concerned*: what is an 'Uncle Eddie' situation?

Tim *grins*: well. That's for us to know isn't it?

And ima try and gain as much information as I can from it (Even if im probably not smart enough to crack it completely)

Now that im looking at this again as a whole, in some card games, an "Ace" is worth 11 points. And some people call their "secret weapon" an "Ace"

And Jack Bauer from the show "24" is just a fun coincidence (I think)

The rest of the numbers I have no clue.

So, what i think the plot will be:

1: Tim nearly dies at the galla

2: there's 2 major rouges (the aces) that attack

3: joker reveals himself properly

4: he attempts (and partly succeeds) to take over the city with a fear toxin/joker venom mix

I gotta cross my fingers for a happy ending here 🙏🙏
