Something clicked for me recently as I see countless people gather for their favorite sport teams and for the pride in their cultural holidays within the past couple weeks (i.e. FIFA, Puerto Rican Day Parade, etc.), and I understand a little better now why Jupiter flourishes in Cancer (in Pushya especially— 3'20° to 16'40°). Nothing brings people together like patriotism and a shared sense of identity. Jupiter is having a jolly ole blast in our moon-ruled sign because people are gathering in droves, like the many moons that Jupiter already lures in. And where else could you find the loyalty of the public than the moon? Jupiter can count on Cancer to provide a welcoming, homely environment with multitudes of people to participate in its festivities and sincere identity sharing (and Jupiter takes those multitudes and quadruples it).
