I gave a test today.

I had a student finish the test in 1.8 minutes. (For reference it would take me at least 10 and most students took 30-50). He scored a 25%. I emailed home.

Mom responds "unfortunately that's just the adhd brain."

I have ADHD. I have known a lot of people with adhd. This isn't adhd. The kid does have ADHD, but he also has "I don't care about school." The parent justifying his behavior is wild to me.

It's taking all my self control not to respond something calling him out. This is so ridiculous.
