100 Proof Comedy is Jam-Packed with Jamie Campbell
100 Proof Comedy is back at 8PM Monday (December 8th) at The ComedySportz Theatre with top shelf comedy and a strong kicker of a headliner: Jamie Campbell!
Jamie Campbell was named Chicago’s “Best Stand-Up Comedian” in 2013 by The Chicago Reader. He performs his high-energy blend of comedy throughout the United States, weaving unbelievable personal stories through a self-deprecating lens that often leaves him at the receiving end of his own joke.
He has performed on virtually all of Chicago’s major stages, including being specially-selected by the sister of the late Andy Kaufman for a slot in the TBS Just For Laughs Festival. Jamie is a regular performer at Laugh Factory and a founding member of 100 Proof Comedy, one of Chicago’s longest running stand-up collectives. Last year, he released his acclaimed EP Black Panther, and will be recording a full-length follow-up this Fall. Jamie tours throughout the nation, averaging hundreds of shows per year. A favorite on the festival circuit, his credits include the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, The Big-Little Comedy Fest, The New Orleans Comedy Arts Festival, and the aforementioned TBS Just For Laughs.

100 Proof Comedy is back at 8PM Monday (November 24th) at The ComedySportz Theatre with top shelf comedy and a strong kicker of a headliner: Alex Stone!
Alex Stone is a comedian from Cincinnati, Ohio who now makes his home in Chicago, Illinois. His hard work and determination have led him from his early days as an absurdist joke writer to his current role as one of the most impressive young storytellers in comedy. In addition to the deeply personal material that has become the cornerstone of his act, Alex has written jokes for nationally touring comedians and this year was one of the top one hundred comics selected for season eight of NBC's Last Comic Standing. Also in 2014, Alex was invited to preform at the prestigious Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal for their New Faces of Comedy showcase. He has also appeared at Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington, Indiana as well as being selected to participate in the 2013 Best of the Midwest competition at Gilda's LaughFest in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His prolific nature and originality has also made him a regular at the Chicago Laugh Factory and earned him an appearance on the Independent Film Channel. Alex was also recently featured in both the Chicago Tribune and the Huffington Post.

David Drake is a comedian. He is a very funny comedian. Since moving to Chicago in 2010 to study Improv at the Annoyance Theater, he has been named 'Best of the Midwest' by the Iowa Comedy Festival and has been featured in Chicago’s Snubfest Comedy Festival, the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, Boston's Magners Comedy Festival, The World Series of Comedy, the Detroit Comedy Festival, The Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival, Cleveland's Ingenuity Fest, and the 2012 Laughing Devil Comedy Festival in New York. He was also featured in Comcast's televised stand up specials 'Who's Laughing Now?' and 'Trial by Laughter' as well as the College Humor Live show at the UCB theater in New York. David currently performs nationwide while working out a niche in Chicago's alternative comedy scene and sometimes he'll eat fries off your plate. He feels bad about that.

100 Proof Comedy is back at 8PM Monday (November 10th) at The ComedySportz Theatre with top shelf comedy and a strong kicker of a headliner: Calvin Evans!
This Chicago born and bred comedian has come a long way from his Eddie Murphy impersonations in his elementary school lunchroom.In April 2006 while earning a degree in Sports Management at the University of Illinois, Evans got his first chance to showcase his comedic talents at a variety show. It was that moment he says, that solidified his dream of wanting to be a comic.From there, in November 2010 Evans went on to become the first winner of WGN Chicago’s Next Big Comic Contest, a staple in the Chicago TBS Just For Laugh Festival since 2011, and he’s been steadily touring colleges and comedy clubs across the nation.While he was successful as a comic on his own, his desire to further develop his craft made him enroll in the Second City Training Centers’ Conservatory (Advance Improv/Acting) program. He recently graduated, which is no small feat. Second City is known for producing notable comedic talent such as Tina Fey (30 Rock), Steve Carell (The Office), Jeff Garlin (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Chris Farley (SNL) and Keegan-Michael Key (Key and Peele), just to name a few.Now he’s spreading his wings further by wearing the hat of Executive Producer of the Calvin Evans Comedy Show, and Co-Producer of the Blind Bet Comedy Show, Thank You Very Much, the Michael Issac Plus Show and You Better Be Funny (coming spring 2014).

Alexandra is a Chicago-based stand-up comic who has performed regularly at local venues for the past three years. A graduate of Indiana University's Individualized Major Program, Alexandra has always done things her own way. In Chicago she started with writing and performing sketch comedy and improv, and has since found her comedic voice through stand-up. Her comedic style is quirky, observational and heavily influenced by her love of TV. She has been called "likeable" and "entertaining" by audiences and fellow comics. Alexandra will dazzle you with her keen observations and porcelain hands. That's right, porcelain hands.

Adam Burke has appeared on Doug Loves Movies, The Benson Interruption, the Bob and Tom show, WGN 720 AM radio, Put Your Hands Together, and many more podcasts and shows. Adam has appeared at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland OR, as part of the Just for Laughs Chicago festival for four years running, and at the local stage of Funny Or Die's Oddball Comedy Festival. In addition, he has opened for a wide variety of comedians including Marc Maron, Jeff Ross, Hannibal Burress, Hari Kondabolu, Maria Bamford, Michael Ian Black, Kumail Nanjiani, John Oliver, Tracy Morgan, Aziz Ansari, and many more. Burke released his debut album Universal Squirrel Theory on A Special Thing Records in 2012. He was voted Best Standup in Chicago by readers of the Chicago Reader in 2014.
