Martin Morrow got his start while in college at Auburn University as part of an award winning stand-up/sketch hybrid Tubbi and Martin. After moving to New York in 2010, Martin began to blend his own unique style of comedy which has brought him all over the country from Las Vegas to Austin to Atlanta and beyond. Martin currently lives in Chicago, IL where he is an alumni of the world famous Lincoln Lodge, a cast member at 100 Proof Comedy, and a regular at the Laugh Factory.

Talk Hard Welcomes Ian Belknap, Martin Morrow and Musical Guest, Chris Petlak!

Talk Hard Media, October 25, 2013:  This Friday at midnight, Talk Hard, Chicago’s hit late-night, uncensored talk show is proud to welcome Ian Belknap. Ian is a writer/performer and founder/curator/host of WRITE CLUB, the world’s greatest competitive readings series. He is the author/performer of the solo shows Wide Open Beaver Shot of My Heart: A Comedy With a Body Count and Terminal Ferocity. Ian’s upcoming show, Bring Me the Head of James Franco, That I May Prepare a Savory Goulash in the Narrow Misshapen Pot of His Skull is running at the Den Theatre through November 16, 2013. Ian also works on an advice column for jerks, irbyandian.com, with his writing partner, Samantha Irby. Check out Ian’s genius brand of comedy live on the Talk Hard stage.

Also joining the show is comedian/fartist, Martin Morrow. Martin is a cast member at the Lincoln Lodge, 100 Proof Comedy, and a regular performer at the Laugh Factory. Blending his unique style of comedy, he has performed all over the U.S.

Rounding out the evening is musical guest, Chris Petlak. Chris will be bringing his acoustic prowess and megawatt smile performing his pop mixture of jazz and hip-hop peppered with the music your mom has been listening to for years. Acoustically speaking, Chris knows how to get jiggy wit it.

As always, this show is live and uncensored, hosted by the unpredictable Jamie Campbell, and written by a staff that was hand-picked from Chicago’s world famous comedy scene.
