Empire Sun
Here's the setting sun as seen from Empire, Michigan. Once again I set off this evening with the green flash in mind, and once again it was not to be, though I got closer to a clean western sky. It was a crystal clear throughout the day, but there was a bit of smoke and muck in the way once I got over to Empire near end of day. The results are not terrible, and I was able to test out a new teleconverter. The ultimate test of that will be with a full moon, so look for that in a fortnight.
