Days 7–9 of #100daysoflents: (7) A man picking apples said this to @kwathwine...he was referring to the apples on a tree in her own yard. (8) I cleaned the gutters last weekend 👏👏👏 (9) I appreciate my neighbor Felix, who shares eggs and other things with us. I'm using this opportunity to practice working with the Wacom Intuos tablet...I'm already comfortable with (and love) our Cintiq, but it's large and difficult to pull out for sketches and other small things. So far, the Intuos is great but I'm super awkward with it and have a long way to go. 😱🖊 #the100dayproject . . Days 4–6 of #100daysoflents: (4) A couple months ago the New Copper Penny building was torn down. I think they're still looking for a place to put the giant neon sign?! (5) A man with a bubble gun entertains people near the freeway entrance. (6) Just some casual sexism courtesy of the uninvited security system salesman when I rejected his "special offer." This statement was followed by "maybe I should just talk to him," referring to my male partner. 😑#ilovelents #intuos #wacom #progress #practice (at Lents, Portland)

Days 1–3 of #100daysoflents (1) A highlight of living in Lents is being a member of the "I Love Lents" Facebook group. Lots of information about lost and found dogs. (2) There's an RV that has "DO NOT TOW" spray painted on it. (3) Nice compliment from a guy looking for cans in my recycle bin. We throw away test prints of our work and he found, and was a fan of, @kwathwine's "History of Paper Making" illustration. #ilovelents #the100dayproject (at Lents, Portland)
