100 Days of Maya: Day 081
Just a quick one today from the theme of ‘Fireplace’
Though I did spend more time on the fire than the fireplace itself playing with the twist modifier and tweaking verts until it resembled tongues of flame.

100 Days of Maya: Day 082
Been a little while since I have done one of these, the major reason for that is picking up a few extra shifts at work on the break from school as well as focusing on the push/pull prototype as well as getting work in on the Narrative Design module.
With that in mind, I spent some time tonight making some progress on one the drop pod model I am going to be using in the module and thought I would post up a W.I.P of it since today is a day and I was working in Maya.
100 Days of Maya: Day 083
A hydroponics bay inspired by the Omega Hydroponic Garden for use in the narrative design project.
This piece is made up of a set of modular pieces which will be exported individually and scattered around the scene in the run up to the giant ship section the player should be drawn to first if I have done my job correctly.
A little update on the 100-day project as a whole below if you are interested.
100 Days of Maya: Day 084
Got the final two models I am going to use for the narrative design project, both being ruined ship sections. The first one is associated with the player:
The second the belongs to the alien force:
Little bit more context to come soon in another narrative design update
100 Days of Maya: Day 066
Been a couple of days but my time has been spent playing with the feel of SteamCraft and getting the final Bot in, which I will talk about in the next couple of days in another update.
Today I returned to the low poly daily themes, which this time round was Stonehenge. Here is my result
100 Days of Maya: Day 063
As promised another SteamCraft model completed for today's 100 days of Maya
The little, coloured squares are looking a little better with the addition of the drone model.
And below this is how they will look in game.
Though I think that I need to work a little more on the camera, perhaps getting it to zoom in and out depending on player proximity to give a better view of the models and the battlefield.
