There are any number of breathtaking destinations along #southafrica's highways and byways, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a more visually pleasing natural space than #swellendam and the surrounding #overberg region 💚💛💚💛 Add celestial winter light and more than a thousand cyclists to the scenic equation, and you're set for a visual feast of note. In fact, if you're using a polariser, you might want to tone down the saturation just to make the imagery more 'real', especially when there are storm clouds approaching on the horizon ⛅ 👏 🌾 Anyone who's ridden the annual @chaseverittsoutherncape @around_the_pot #100miler will attest to the fact that this rates as one of the most spectacular #gravelbike routes on the planet. They will also confirm that it is a tough as nails #mtb event, especially if you are duking it out with big dogs such as @mike_posthumus, @robhobbers and @erikkleinhans along those gritty inland rollers traversing the wheat and canola patchwork fields.
