“Where’s the library in this place?” Mel muttered under her breath as she walked down the hall, she hated being a new recruit. All the tedious jobs were left to her and the others like herself. She huffed as she shifted the stack of books she was carrying, blinking as they suddenly tumbled and fell to the ground, scattering. “Damn it!” She cursed as she knelt to pick them up.

With how hard Midnight tried, she simply just couldn’t fight back. Such a tiny, she was! Not even strong enough to knock someone over. She truly was a lamb at heart; never exactly wanting to hurt anybody. However, if this is what she had to do to leave, she had to make it so. Unfortunately, time and time again, she just always got beat in combat.

Today was no different, and she just so happened to be put up against someone who, could quite literally, throw her: Reiner Braun. Oh, how she envied him from time to time. Never did she once talk to this man, and she had already turned a blind eye to him. Matter of fact, this is the first time she ever met him!

Midnight leaned back as Hange came forward, blue eyes leaning back as the glare made her squint. "I...I am doing well-- though I don't see how something like that would correlate with health..." Midnight was never the smartest when it came to basic medicine--but even then...what?

Her lupine ears fall down, her eyes carefully watching the woman's every move. "I'm actually...lost; can you tell me where I am? What year?"
