Happy 108th anniversary of indepedence Finland
Today (4.24.23) marks 108 years since the beginning of the Armenian Genocide.
I always expect myself to feel differently, but I never do. I think about the storied I was told as a child. The stories of women and unborn babies being brutalized. Whole villages being wipped off the map. Stories of my great grandparents' escape to the United States. Stories of family who never made it.
My heart is heavy. Heavy with the knowledge that Turkey continues to deny what they did and continue today. Heavy knowing that my people still living on ancestral land are being attacked for who and what they are.
Since I was very little my grandfather told me that " the best revenge is living." I didn't really understand that as a kid, but I get it. I am alive. I and all other Armenians (living in the diaspora or on ancestral land) are proof that we cannot be exterminated. We will not be destroyed.
We will live on.
We will thrive.
We will have our revenge.
Perhaps one of the most evocative images of the Titanic disaster is that of the young newsboy outside the White star line offices at Oceanic House in Cockspur street London S.W,holding an Evening News poster announcing “Titanic disaster great loss of life”
That boy was Ned Parfett and his short life was no less spectacular and his death just as tragic,as that of Titanic.Six and a half years after this poignant photograph was taken Ned was killed during a German bombardment while serving with the British army in France just days before the Armistice. He was 22.

The Athletic Tribune –
Dexter Fowler & Jason Heyward along with the Chicago Cubs won their first World Series since 1908 with a thrilling 8-7 victory over the Cleveland Indians in a 10-inning Game 7. It was one of the most entertaining World Series of all-time, as the Cubs became just the sixth team to ever come back from a 3-1 deficit to win the Fall Classic.
This was Heyward’s first year with Chicago, and there was a ton of hype surrounding the arrival of the one-time All-Star and three-time Gold Glove winner. Despite his impressive résumé, the 27-year-old didn’t have a whole lot to do with the Cubs’ success.

In the regular season, he hit just .230/.306/.325 with seven HRs, 49 RBIs, and 61 runs scored in 142 games. It was even worse for Heyward in the postseason, as he slashed .104/.140/.167 with 0 HRs in 48 at-bats.
But don’t feel bad for Heyward because he stunk it up all year long. He signed a contract for $184 million over eight years, he won a ring, and oh yeah, he met his smoking hot girlfriend.
Heyward’s been dating Grace Heller for a few months, and now all his struggles at the plate make a lot more sense. How in the hell could anyone concentrate on baseball with this minx waiting at home for them?

Things are progressing smoothly. She is the kind of girl who loves animals and posts memes to raise awareness about their mistreatment around the world. This gets a little monotonous because it has no real effect.
Grace Heller
Jason Heyward’s girlfriend Grace owns a handsome Black Labrador. Her sister also became a mother recently. Thus, Grace became an Aunt. She describes her nephew as her “favorite little man.”
In a few years, if Jason keeps up the good behavior, she will have her own little man. Grace’s brother committed to attending Harvard University October of 2014. That makes her brother a sophomore now.
She’s a little older than he is. She also has another brother who is the youngest in her family.
As for Dexter Fowler he married his smoking hot wife Darya Aliya Baghbani back in 2012 when he was playing for the Colorado Rockies and they have a beautiful child together.
Check out some of Grace’s hottest photos in the gallery below. Anyone who wouldn’t be more focused on rounding her bases is a liar.
