Now that Huawei has introduced the P40 line , everyone is waiting for the arrival of the Mate 40 line, scheduled for September this year. So, to increase fan expectations, the Chinese blog ITHome released new information about Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro. According to sources in Huawei's supply chain, the company's next flagships will have a 108MP main camera. If the leak is authentic, the Chinese giant will join other brands that also have devices with this amount of megapixels, such as Samsung, Xiaomi, and Motorola. Allegedly, the sensor chosen by Huawei is much better than the current ones, delivering a 9P lens that, consequently, offers images superior to those of the models with an 8P lenses, such as the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro, for example. The blog also mentions important adjustments and optimizations but does not go into detail. Since the launch of the P30 line, the main smartphones of the Chinese brand have brought cameras with RYYB color filters, which allow to capture more light than the RGB filter.
