I love that swirl my coffee gets when the pollen and oils all swirl together. More and more my coffee has become a vehicle to get in super healing foods. It started a few years ago when "Bullet proof" first hit the scene. It opened up my mind. ... I too once was addicted to poisonous coffee creamers. PS - If you are drinking any kind of flavoured creamer, dairy or non-dairy, it is not good. At least in the grocery stores north to south I have yet to find one acceptable. No matter what the marketing on the label says. ... Getting off creamer is very tricky. I have found that it was a texture more than taste thing for me. Adding butter, and full fat coconut milk from the can, plus almond milk does the trick. From there cinnamon is an easy add. Honey replaces the vanilla better than vanilla extract. I found a #Mexicanvanilla that is close. ... I also add in #collagen, all 5 types to cover my bases. This time of year I never skip my local bee pollen. That is the lovely swirl you see in top. #Beepollen mixing with butter. ... Most days I like to do less than a half a cup of coffee, the rest is #Dandelion root, with #chicory. Right now it is full cafe until this move is over. ... Favorite new thing, mushrooms. Getting that #chagga and #reishi in may be the final push to eliminate that coffee bean all together. Coffee increases Vata, but a warm creamy beverage in the am will decrease vata and anchor my day. Coffee is literally #VatapushingPitta. Wind fueling fire. Hence the way it turns the brain processing speed, #sadakapitta, way up. ... Another way to increase focus and decrease anxiety is to add a medicated ghee of marijuana, blended with coconut oil. 1/16 of a teaspoon will do, and the day is yours.
