As of this morning 11 AM PST, the goal of 1,000,000 pounds has been achieved. It is done. I am incredibly thankful. I have looked forward to completing this goal so that I may begin to concentrate on developing a grasp for and practice of yoga. I will continue to lift because it is not part of my routine. I have completed only 67% of walking 500 miles for the year. I have 10 weeks to achieve the goal. I must walk 163.39 miles to achieve the goal. My heart does not burn to achieve this goal because I have walked more than 3,000 miles in the past four years. I will continue to walk daily. My weekly workout routine is with a ten-pound weight in each hand on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I am competing with no one but myself. I walk and lift to demonstrate to myself what I can do. I am doing more than I could do 20 years ago. For that, I am extremely thankful. ~O The weight work includes three forms of presses, two forms of curls, toe raises, two forms of wings, two forms of side lifts, and squats. I do them from standing or seated positions. From seated, squats become a stand-up. Three sets of each lift have become four. The goal is 20,000 pound a week.
