She is one of the founders on the Black Lives Matter Global Network, she is the Founder and Executive Director of Gather Together Project, an online database profiling Black women and girls who have lost their lives to state or intra-racial violence and she is a member of AfroInnova, an Afro-Colombian based collective of leaders and organizations working to establish visibility and empowerment for African communities globally because Black womanhood is not monolithic y'all! As a queer woman she has personally taught our organization and the community what it means to address our own internal violence and how to better build INCLUSIVE communities.
