Snowed in with "White Nights"
Once again – West Lafayette is under a winter weather advisory. This is the view from my window and onto Northwestern Avenue, pretty dreary, eh?
But being snowed in means it’s movie time! Today I’m watching the ballet movie “White Nights” starring famous Russian ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov. Fun fact – my DANC102 professor Melodie Carr actually danced with him in some performances!

11 incredibly relaxed performed pirouettes. A Scene from "White Nights" (1985) with Mikhail Baryshnikow: He's outplaying Gregory Hines with such an ease - I guess, he could have done the double... (though the 80s styling makes me giggle: honestly, you've heard from a thing called haircut, do you, Mikhail?)
