Aleks_hd: Went on a "vacation" with some of my bro's last week. Busted out the camera and snapped a few pictures (hence the spam of uploads). Here's some of the shots I enjoyed
Hopefully my covid test is negative lol

Do the thing. Whatever it is you've been thinking, wondering, pondering, considering, worrying about. Do it. Today. Now. Right now. Do it.
It is just before midnight on November 14th, 2020. Tomorrow I will hit 5 months since I began all of this, and I’m hitting a bit of a road block. The last few months I have lost 3-4 pounds as opposed to 6+, and I really don’t want this process to take years and years. From where I am today, I still want to lose at least an additional 80 pounds (but really closer to 90 pounds).
If from this month on I lose 8 pounds every month, it will still take me 10 months to get down to my goal weight. If I lose 4 pounds every month, it will take me 20 months. Obviously it would be nice to do something between these numbers...
Either way, it’s tough when you’ve been at it for what feels like a long time and still see such a long journey ahead. I’m going to try and keep better track of my weeks—right now I’m doing a good job of logging food but a not as good job of remembering when should be a deficit week and when should be a maintenance one.
I am considering not doing maintenance weeks for a while and instead doing a maintenance day on the occasion that I feel I need one (ie holidays and special occasions) as there is a lot of food based holidays coming up.
I would also like to start a jump rope challenge/workout this starting week and see how I like it. It seems like people get really good toning results from jump roping, and running doesn’t seem to be doing as much as I would like.
Yeah. After tomorrow I am going to go into full time deficit and have cheat/maintenance days on occasion, and with that I will also try jump roping. Between those things, hopefully I will be a bit more energized about all of this again.
i realized something recently. about society and jobs. it's just a job. for the most part, dream jobs don't exist. humans can be good at literally almost anything if they learn, so i don't think it's necessarily always true that each person has to find the job they're suited for and only do that. people are well suited to a lot of things. at this point, the way modern society is, we all just need a job to support existing the way we want to in the best way we can at the time. not to say don't have dreams and goals to do what you want, but it can be discouraging for those who can't reach those goals for whatever reason. life is not linear, it is circular. phases of things can be good for a time until it's time for something else, but that doesn't mean you can't return to that cycle at another time. there's no fucking rules here.
