Napping in the afternoon isn’t good for a good night’s sleep, for sure. Now, whether the afternoon snooze had a non-progressing effect on my nightly meditation or not, I can’t tell. This line of thought with regards cause and effect held true when I was meditating with the subconscious layer of my mind. That’s more than a year ago.
I am undoubtedly with the intuitive mind now, while meditating. Whether subconscious freedom in an afternoon nap has any effect on an intuitive meditation a few hours later, I can’t tell.
All I know is that meditations like this one have no perceptible growth about them. They can be mildly frustrating because you sat there praying for a depth better than all your yesterdays and couldn’t find one.
Yet, one can come out of meditations like this knowing that this was an imperceptible stepping stone towards something much deeper than everything one has experienced so far.
Meditations like this one are a hundred times better than not having meditated at all. They help you know where you have plateaued and how far you still have to go.
My body shook involuntarily a lot through this session. There was difficulty in concentrating at the depth I was at. The legs remained comfortable all through the session. I guess it is time to dig one’s heels in. So be it.
