The Doctor practically burst into the room, realising that River there all too late. He was about to make a rather uncomfortable noise and hurry out, shouting apologies all the while, when several marks caught his eye. He paused, his mouth slightly agape, in shock at all the she had evidently been through. "River..." He began quietly, mainly to announce his presence, his eyes flicking down out of respect.

River spun around as she heard the door of the Tardis wardrobe open, unable to stop herself from smiling amusingly as her husband stuttered, though she soon blushed as she realised what had caught his attention about her undressed form, quickly pulling her silk dressing gown off a hanger and covered herself before she began to make her way back over to him. 

"Sorry" she mumbled quietly to him, less than a foot between them "I…. I was going to tell you"
