── my thoughts on this weeks ep (the pitt s2ep6) ✭*:･ﾟ

── i lovedlovedloooved that this episode was focused on the nurses, it was really refreshing, but because of that i fell like we didn't stay with the patients long enough sometimes. for example i really liked princess comforting the sister of the law student, but i felt like some context was missing since we didn't see the doctor talking to him or javadi reacting to hurting her. i think they're not doing a great job distributing time between the patients and the staff

── louie's death… to me the worst part was perlah, the look that princess gave her through the window broke my heart. the fact that his emergency contact was their emergency line… kill me now plsss. also robby offering support to whitaker instead of langdon when he's obviously taking it worse ??? i really thought that louie's death was going to bring them together

── dana protecting emma when the guy grabbed her…. yeah

── evil whitaker needs to be eliminated, "he croaked" kys omg, i was warming up to him last week with santos but we're back to square one now. perlah should've punch him

── another motorcycle accident, they're really laying it on thick omg. like we get it, something is up with robby and his trip, and right now i dont care, he should start his trip early and stop terrorizing the ed

── langdon didn't hear from anyone while he was gone??? during ten months?? i mean i guess it makes sense, since robby was mad at him and dana was going through a lot and i feel they would've been the ones to tell everyone what was going on and to check up on him, but still… it was a nice parallel to mel also being alone in the ed these last ten months

── santos is really going through the horrors, she's behind on her charting, her situationship is mad at her, robby was rude when there was no need… free my girl

── at this point idgaf that al-hashimi is pro ai, she needs to end robby likee, his time has come

── i'm getting tired of thinking the writers are playing the long game with a lot of the storylines. it's starting to feel like they don't care about certain characters, mainly samira and mckay, but it could be argued about most of the girls. they just have them on the back, saying a couple of medical terms and then disappear for the rest of the episode. and it's so frustrating, since we don't have collins anymore it'd make sense if samira filled the hole that she left, but for some reason it looks like whitaker is doing it ? they guy that just graduated btw, over an r3. in the first season they followed a very clear hierarchy but now it feels like some people can do whatever they want. i don't know, i'm not vibing with how they're managing the ensemble this season, i feel like last season they did a better job at including every character in each episode, this season it feels like every week they choose a couple of characters from the ensemble and make them the focus. i don't really like it, specially bc some characters (robby and whitaker) are always the focus, they keep sidelining the women and poc and i'm getting tired of it

Because the decade is ending, I wanted to give a shoutout to my friends who’ve made this year (and as long as I’ve known them) so so so so so much better.

@i-procrastinate-everything - Ash just let me tell you . . . you always manage to make me laugh and you’re an amazing human being and I love you to pieces. 

@minihowie - Honestly, Grace, I feel like a protective older sister with you. I hate that your IRL’s treat you the way they do. They don’t understand how lucky they are to just have you there in their lives because you’re so sweet and I love you more than you’ll ever know. 

@butterfly-apocalypse - I really really enjoy that we can go from serious to not to serious and back and forth as much as needed. I trust you with every inch of my entire body and more. I love you oh so very much. 

@formlessphan -  I love our antics that we inevitably get up to, including our Dan in a crop top that lead to a fic and a beautiful piece of art. 

Here’s to all of you and all the people I’ll meet in 2020 and here’s to having a good year.
