evi update!
i’ve read a bit of the new series and i’m enjoying it! i think today was one of those times where i realized that the internet does exist to my disadvantage because i let other people’s opinions affect how i saw a comic i hadn’t even READ yet.
the forewarning about the series was not appreciated and influenced me negatively. i would not have gone through half or ANY of the breakdowns that i have had if people had been kind enough not to spoil me on the details.
that is par for the course for being on the internet i guess and at least i have learned a new lesson. it was honestly painful to read everything that people had to say about the series and i honestly wouldn’t have minded if i had found out by accident but being told DIRECTLY about it and in such a negative/demeaning light was very damaging to my fragile psyche.
i don’t know what to say at this point except next time please be mindful about the words you say to me as you all know i’m a huge fan of ben and am very sensitive about him. i’d like to say thank you to everyone who held their tongues and waited for me to catch up, you have my deepest thanks and especially my friends and anons who kept cheering me up and reminding me to believe in ben reilly. i am enjoying this series very much and it’s so awesome to see my boy back in action!
in conclusion: i love ben reilly!
