I need to be real with myself and not worry about the feelings of others. I have to stop thinking I'm a piece of shit and know that I'll be who I want to be one day. But most of all I have to stop being selfish and attached. I don't know what my next step is, but I know it'll be great.

once again, you’ve decided you’re ready for something so it’s going to happen. you constantly talked about respecting me but i don’t remember seeing one real example.

see the problem that i’m having is that you still appreciate me for what i did for you, not who i am.

i know it’s complex because a lot of what i did for you came out of simply being who i am, and i think you’ve tried to acknowledge that, but i feel your gratitude for it only insofar as it benefits you. you appreciate who i am because of how who i am affected you, and not independently of that. 

and it’s like, the whole thing becomes about you, which i suppose it always was.
