So I’ve been questioning shadow lugia as a kintype for a while because I seem to really like this form, in basically the same way I liked being cynder the dragon. I also struggle to feel my own emotions starting from a certain point in time. But with the latter, I only recently confirmed it for real because it has been going on for so long, maybe it really just is a thing I experience.

And along with that confirmation comes “wait, could this be a shadow pokemon thing? FUCK, THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE, SHIT”

One step closer to kinfirming this I guess

Me being drawn to the shadow element specifically and only having noemata of using shadow moves (and no other elements) makes me go between “but Cynder’s original element in canon is implied to be wind, she got everything else from being corrupted” and “screw canon, it has no hold on me, it’s ok for me to be Cynder and only has control over shadow”
