I've been watching 13 Minutes on/off for the past couple of days. I found it quite unsettling, don't recommend watching before bed or when you've got a few minutes before work. 13 Minutes is a story of how a man failed to assassinate Hitler. For some unknown reason,Hitler chose to leave an event he was attending 13 minutes earlier than expected for Georg Elser wanted. This isn't just unsettling because it's true or because it's from a time during Hitlers rein but because of how brutal Hitler soldiers were to Georg. How they threatened his family,his on/off girlfriend as well as his life for not playing by their rules. It's stomach churning and definitely not for the weak. Though it now has me curious, if assassination attempt was successful than what would've happened? Would Hitler's reign ended quicker? Would jewish people be able to feel somewhat safer? I was dead for 13 minutes and I want to know why by Sarah pinborough

This book is a thrilling murder mystery about fears, people, manipulation and the power of the truth.

The story begins with one of the main characters being found in a frozen lake dead but it doesn't stay that way. Throughout the story it shows you how much it takes to be liked in a social situation and how far people really would go just to please the 'popular girl.'

The affairs, secrets all come from particular group of friends. The supposedly perfect group. Well they do say keep your friends closer and your enemy's closer but how easy is it to tell the difference?

The twist and turns throughout the story as the plot thickens will keep you in the edge of your seat.

Finished #13minutes by #sarahpinorough yesterday while traveling back home from italy. It was really good. I had to read it for the bookclub and i am very happy they picked this one. I wasn't so sure in the beginning because i normally never read these kind of books. But It was very suprising in the end and i couldn't stop reading. I really recommend this book. . .
