John and Ringo pictured leaving the Royal Beach Hotel in Southsea on the 13th November 1963. The Beatles had stayed their the previous night after cancelling their Portsmouth show when Paul collapsed with gastric flu. (George also came down with the flu and Ringo looked a bit peaky when they were interviewed on the 12th. John’s clearly fine though!)

The Beatles photographed outside the Askers Roadhouse Hotel in Bridport, Dorset, (probably) on the 13th November, 1963. 

Depending on who’s account is to be believed, the Beatles either stopped her for lunch on their way to Plymouth or they stayed here overnight (probably the former). The Beatles are posing with Mrs. Robbins, the owner of the hotel. Paul was recovering from gastric flu at the time, (the Beatles had postponed a show in Portsmouth the day before as their bass player was too unwell to perform), and a report in the Bournemouth Echo revealed the boys dined on grilled steak and chips, except for Paul who had a lightly poached egg on toast. After lunch the Beatles posed for photos and signed autographs for other diners, including a honeymoon couple who were en route to Torquay. 

As a side note, these photos were featured in the Daily Telegraph in 2009 which they dated as c.1966!
