Reunite -Scott Reed
“Why won’t you just get back with him Y/N? Scott is obviously still in love with you and vice versa.” Jess asked you as you sat in the café.
“I don’t know, Jess, I feel like it’s the right thing. Yes, he’s sweet and caring but… I, I just I can’t anymore.” You huffed, sipping your drink. “I like that we’re just friends now, I think, anyway.”
“No, you don’t. Look me in the eye and tell me you want to be just friends with him.” Jess ordered.
“Fine. I want to be more than friends with him.” You smiled.
“Then text him, meet him at the park where you met and tell him!” She laughed.
To Scott:
Park. 5 mins.
Sent.
“It’s done.” You smile. You stand up and walk to Jess’ car so she can drive you to the park. You sit on the swings, where you and Scott used to sit and talk for hours. The sun was setting in front of you, the grass dancing in the wind. It was the perfect evening. You saw the shadow of a person walking towards you.
“Y/N” Scott said sitting in the swing next to you. “Can I talk first?” He asks, you nod.
“Of course you can, but I wanna talk about us.”
“What about us? Everything we still feel about each other?” he asks you, sounding so upset.
“I know I said its over but I can’t seem to accept that it is.” You replied.
“Neither can I. How can I? Knowing I’ll never hold you in my arms again? Or touch your skin, or feel your lips? Knowing I’ll never make love to you? How can I accept that? I can never kiss you again when it takes all of me not to kiss you right now?” He sighs looking into your eyes. You never felt happier.
“Kiss me.” You whisper.
“What?”
“Kiss me. Just… don’t talk.” You stand from the swing pulling his arm so he stands in front of you. You lips crash together like it was the first time. You felt all the passion you once did in your relationship. When you pull away he hides his face in your hair.
“I love you Y/N. I always have.” He says into your hair.
“I love you too.” You whisper.

That night you lay in bed with one of the biggest smiles on your face knowing you had something great. You were snapped out of your thoughts by your phone. Scott was calling.
“Hey, what’s up?” You answered.
“Well, I was just thinking. I'm in my bed. You're in your bed. One of us is in the wrong place.” You could hear the smirk on his face.
“That’s what you're thinking about right now?”
“Isn't it always.” He laughed.
“Good night Scotty.” You giggle.
“Good night Y/N/N.”
